I've always been fascinated by music and sound. (And yes, let's just acknowledge the home-cut fringe above).

And whether I've been performing, teaching people to DJ, making music, singing, or recording sound, being in the studio is a relaxing and happy place for me. 

​

So I'm really thrilled that a new studio project is coming through in 2026.

In 2008 in the hazy days following Will’s arrived, I thought I’d never DJ again, and lovely Julie Long, who guided me in my hypnobirthing journey (which helped support & keep me calm during my c-section birth) asked me to create music for her company, Lazy Daisy. 

 

The brief was to write in response to my emotions following his birth, and so with Will on my knee, I wrote “Silver Lake”, and several supporting pieces. I recorded a brook in Devon, wind chimes, and the work features Will’s baby gurgles. 

 

These pieces went on to help anchor thousands of women in their birth experience and it’s some of the work I feel most proud of. They’re still available today. https://ohmymusic.bandcamp.com/

 

My work in music production and in the studio has been interesting, and intermittent as I’ve worked on projects in and around performing, and teaching DJing. 

 

I’ve created all kinds of work.

I wrote the jingle for award-winning podcast, “Podcast Divas”  

 

I’ve created radio imaging for pirate radio stations, been the voice on readi adverts, been the “Voice of God” in Sports Awards, and corporate wellbeing festivals and have voiced meditations for a range of clients, all of them recorded and produced in my home studio.
