Meet Sophie & Issy
Our Chief chefs of The Creative DJ Kitchen are Sophie (also known as DJ/Artist Tallulah Goodtimes & Issy (also known as DJ Issy B).
When our teaching together at Outloud Music, Ipswich, ended, we said, “Wouldn’t it be cool to set up a DJ school. A woman led learning environment to share our skills & to inspire a new wave of cross generational female DJs?"
And here we are! 2026 and welcoming our 3rd cohort of fantastic women and girls ready to learn the art of DJing.
We are looking forward to what the future holds with some exciting plans already in the oven!
The CDJK mission is ever evolving but at the heart, our core values are:
A supportive learning environment
A space where questions are welcomed
A space free of judgement - of ourselves and others
A place to tend to creative spirit
Above all, it's a space to unite music lovers in creative endeavour, common purpose and community. And to blend the boundaries of music, culture, gender and generation for a happier, more cohesive society.
