When Serato Glitches

Tech. Oh tech. Sometimes it feels like an insurmountable problem.

But in the face of tech troubles, you need to get curious. Yes, it gets in the way of the really fun part - the music and mixing, but it is an unavoidable part of digital DJing and production.

We have lost days. And sometimes you have to accept that today's session isn't the playthrough you wanted, but more a tech solving encounter.

Although we have pulled hair out over tech problems, we don't advise it.

Instead, it is time to switch modes into the curiosity we mentioned ealier. And also know that by doing this now, the next time this happens you'll know what to do. Another level of skill and knowledge unlocked.

Today, we're solving a problem where Serato is glitching and the waveform seems to be stuttering.

It's usually a sign of system overload, so we need to identify where it's coming from.
