Who Is Your DJ Teacher?
My name is Sophie Tott, but you might also know me as Tallulah Goodtimes (my DJ stage name). I have over two decades of experience as a successful international DJ and artist, and have performed on stages all around the world—including in Ibiza, Dubai, and Italy.
Music is my life, and I’ve achieved some pretty cool accomplishments during my career such as making my debut album, performing at venues like Pacha, Heaven and Ministry of Sound, working with brands such as Hed Kandi, Stella McCartney and Selfridges, and have shared stages with acts such as Paul Oakenfold, Norman Jay, Tim Deluxe, Sister Bliss, Dub Pistols and many more.
I’ve spent decades honing my craft, and can’t wait to take you on your own journey with music, creative expression, and DJing.

The course covers a wide range of topics essential for beginner DJs, including an introduction to DJ equipment and software, music theory and structure, beatmatching, mixing techniques, and more.
You'll gain hands-on experience with your professional DJ equipment and will receive personalised feedback from your expert instructor.
You'll also learn all about how to discover your DJ style, build your own DJ brand, and market yourself.
4 How Long Does The Course Take To Complete?
The duration of the course depends on your individual pace and schedule.
Our flexible learning platform allows you to progress through the material at your own speed, so you can take as much time as you need to absorb the content and practice your skills.
Most students take around 8 weeks to complete the course when studying part-time (such as on the weekends).
5 Do I Need Any Prior Experience Or DJ Equipment To Enrol In The Course?
No prior experience is required to enrol in this DJ course. All you need is a passion for music and a desire to learn.
Owning DJ equipment is not a prerequisite for enrolment in the course, but you will need to buy a kit to practice during your DJ course. I can provide guidance on selecting the right DJ equipment and software for your budget and skill level if necessary (but this is also covered within the course itself).
You can use your own tunes to practice during the course, but I also supply some of my own songs (free of charge) for you to practice mixing with too.
6 Can I Interact With My Instructor And Other Students During The Course?
Absolutely! Your course is hosted on Thinkific, which is a popular industry-leading online learning platform. Thinkific features interactive elements such as discussion forums, Q&A functionality, quizzes, and instructor feedback on assignments.
You'll also have the opportunity to connect with fellow students, share tips and experiences, and collaborate on projects if you wish.
